Which one is better? Anastasia Beverly Hills: Perfect Brow Pencil VS. Brow Wiz

As we all know, Anastasia Beverly Hills is famous for their amazing brow products. Slowly they are expanding the brand to eyeshadows, lip products, and so on, but... really they are quite known for their brow pencils, powders, and gels.

This blog post is strictly about their brow pencils: Perfect Brow Pencils and Brow Wiz.

Anastasia Brow Wiz is SO WIDELY talked about in the beauty community and is deemed as a holy grail by many, which is why I started out my brow journey with the Brow Wiz.

Like others, I absolutely LOVE this product:

1) Slim packaging. So portable. Fits into any makeup bag.

2) Thin and pointed lead that gives a precise shape and outline of your brows. Clean and sharp look.

3) LONGEVITY: It is downright amazing. I wore this all throughout the muggy, sweaty, and hot weathers, and it is quite budge proof.

Perfect Brow Pencil is the recent one that I have been trying out these past few months. I love that:

1) It gives a soft natural look.

2) Super easy and fast to draw!

Here are some key differences between the two products:

PRICE: Brow Wiz is $21 dollars, and Perfect Brow Pencil is $23. Yes Brow Pencil is more expensive, but Brow Wiz has 0.085 grams of product, and Brow Pencil has 0.95 grams... So obviously, Brow Wiz is more (like... WAY MORE) expensive than the Brow Pencil. Because the brow wiz has very little of a product, I realized that I have to replace it every 2-3 months or so. I've had the Brow Pencil for about 6 months now, and I am not close to being finished.

BROW BRUSH: I prefer the brush on the Brow Wiz more than the Brow Pencil because it is thinner. There is nothing wrong with the one on the Brow Pencil, but the thinner brush on the Brow Wiz diffuses and blends the product better than the thicker brush.

SHARPENING: You have to sharpen the Brow Pencil. In the meanwhile, the lead sometimes breaks off which is VERY annoying because it is a waste of a product.

PRECISED SHAPE: It can be achievable by using the Brow Wiz most definitely, but with the Brow Pencil, it is little bit more difficult. You would have to sharpen the pencil every time to get the precise sharp edge, but even then the lead is significantly bigger than the Brow Wiz which makes things harder to create that crisp shape.

IN CONCLUSION:

It really depends on how much brow hair you have and what kind of look that you are achieving for. If you have sparse and no defined shape, It'll be better for you to have the Brow Wiz, but if you have just patches of sparse areas, Perfect Brow Pencil will be better.

Have you tried both of these two? Which one do you prefer?
