Week of DRUGSTORE MASCARA! Almay Get Up & Grow Mascara!

Another Drugstore Mascara Review! Yes, I am on the roll!

The Mascara wand is like a shape of an hourglass, which I don't really know if it helps or not with the application process but it is not bad. And of course, I got the non-waterproof version of this mascara.

PROS
1. Length: In terms of length it is very mediocre. I want to say it does a solid job, but not extraordinary.

2. Volume: It definitely gives volume WITHOUT making the lash look chunky or fuzzy like spider legs. However, compared to other volumizing mascaras, this might not be as extreme because of its separating qualities but volume is still there.

3. The Overall Look: I absolutely love the way it makes my overall eye look. This mascara separates so well that it makes my lashes look fanned out (like a butterfly!) yet natural, which is perfect for those natural days. It also holds the curl decently well which is another plus! Also, the texture of the formula is very silky and smooth, which makes my lashes look even more natural.

4. The claims: The mascara claims that it strengthens and lengthens the eyelashes after each use. I didn't quite see my lashes grow significantly, but the formula of this mascara is so smooth and emollient that I can see it making my lashes stronger in the future. But I do appreciate this added feature to this mascara because it extends the purpose of this mascara.

CONS
1. Longevity: This definitely smudges. I have tried this multiple time over the past two months, and it smudged every time I used it. I did try to powder my eyes and put less eye cream before using this mascara, but no matter what it always ended up smudging after 3-4 hours.

In conclusion, I like this mascara a lot! This really does make your lashes look pretty and natural, but it is definitely build-able if you want little bit more glamour to your look. Just beware that...it is going to smudge.
